Alpaca Classic from Rowan and Alpaca Cotton from Mode at Rowan are the same yarn. The composition is the same. The colours are the same but the colour numbers are different.
If you order 2 different colours one could be labeled Alpaca Classic and one could be labeled Alpaca Cotton. However all the balls of one colour will have the same label and will be the same dye lot.
Alpaca Classic is made using a cotton net which is filled with superfine alpaca fibers, resulting in a wonderfully soft, light weight yarn you will fall in love with.
Due to its fine weight, and intense colour palette, Alpaca Classic is ideal for fairisle patterns and a multitude of garments and accessories.
